Myles Simien

I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the same university.

I enjoy working with people from adolescence throughout all stages of adulthood. I am interested in working with clients on a variety of issues which include: effective communication, boundary setting, finding solutions, social fluidity, sports-related issues, relationship issues, and family conflict.

I envision therapy as not having a singular path of only high points or low points. Therapy is a process that has many paths and not having one concrete direction. I am here to assist and collaborate in finding a personalized path towards change. My process of therapy consists of goals to assist my client in finding their own solutions to their problems and assisting in finding autonomy and power in their lives.

I treat my clients and what is brought into the room with respect. Open-mindedness and collaboration are factors that I strive towards.
