Since founding Finding Solace in 2014, I have worked to create more than a place where people receive mental healthcare. I wanted to build a practice where asking for help feels safe, where people are met without judgment, and where every interaction reflects the value of the person in front of us.
Finding Solace began with a simple belief: people deserve support from professionals who genuinely care about who they are, what they have experienced, and what they hope their lives can become.
The vision behind Finding Solace
My goal has always been to create a practice where clients and staff can feel the difference between simply receiving a service and being meaningfully cared for.
That vision shapes how we build our team, respond to people seeking help, and make decisions about the future of the practice. We bring together professionals with different backgrounds, perspectives, credentials, and strengths because no single approach—or single clinician—will be right for everyone.

Leading Finding Solace means protecting the values on which it was built while continuing to expand access to meaningful care across Louisiana.
I believe our responsibility extends beyond providing appointments. We must listen carefully, treat people with dignity, support the professionals doing this work, and continue finding ways to reduce the barriers that keep people from receiving care.
